Sunshine will prevail across the region, with high clouds drifting far above the peaks. After a cold morning, temperatures will rise to 14°/20° in the afternoon.

The next days
Cold front from Wednesday to Thursday: Wednesday will start off quite sunny. Clouds will increase in the afternoon, and in the evening a cold front will bring widespread rain, strong gusts of wind and a sharp drop in temperature. The snow line will fall below 1000 m. On Thursday, there will be plenty of clouds, accompanied by a strong, cold north wind. Initially, it will snow in the northern and eastern parts of the region; as the day progresses, the snow showers will retreat to the main Alpine ridge. The strong north wind will persist on Friday as well. Still a few snow showers along the border with North Tyrol, whilst further south the sun will make occasional appearances. Saturday is likely to bring a pleasant mix of sun and clouds. The gusty northerly foehn will persist.
